Hurriyet Conference (APHC) and the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom
Party (DFP) Chairman, Shabir Ahmad Shah on Tuesday visited Karalapura Machoo
and condoled the death of Sheikh Ghulam Qadir, the father of human rights

Srinagar, October 22 : Senior AHPC leader,and DFP chief Shabir Ahmad Shah, addressing a public gathering in Rafiabad described the statement as mere a CBM. “If India is serious, then all black laws should be repealed from all cities and villages of the occupied territory,” he added." Revocation of black laws from few areas is just a CBM and should not be misunderstood as solution to the Kashmir dispute,” he added. Shah maintained that before holding talks, India must first ensure revocation of all draconian laws, complete withdrawal of troops, release of all political prisoners and an end to human rights violations. Shah termed the puppet chief minister’s announcement just eyewash. “As long as AFSPA, PSA, Disturbed Areas Act and other black laws are not revoked in total from every part of Kashmir, nothing will change on the ground.All these laws have to be revoked and there should be complete withdrawal of Indian forces,” he stressed. Srinagar, October 21 : Senior APHC leader, and DFP chief
Shabir Ahmed Shah, has said that Kashmiris are determined to carry forward
their liberation movement to its logical conclusion braving brute tactics of
India. Addressing a public gathering in Naidkhaie area of Baramulla, Shabir Ahmed Shah maintained that the sacrifices of martyrs had highlighted the Kashmir dispute globally. He pointed out that India’s intransigence was the main hurdle in settling the lingering dispute. Shah condemned the human rights violations by Indian troops, saying that Kashmiri youth were being massacred for the sake of rewards and promotions. He said that last year the troops arrested three youth, took them to the border area and killed them in a fake encounter. Shah’s address was punctuated by anti-India and pro-liberation slogans. |

Srinagar, October 19 : Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) and the President of Democratic Freedom party (DFP), Shabir Ahmad Shah has said that the people of Kashmir will continue to observe 27th October as a Black Day till resolution of Kashmir dispute. Shah in Srinagar said that on 27th October 1947, India invaded Jammu and Kashmir while trampling over the principles of the partition of British India and in disregard to the aspirations of the Kashmir people. He said that the people of Kashmir had been rendering unprecedented sacrificed and one day their struggle would bring fruit. He said that the Kashmiris’ sacrifices had globalize Kashmir dispute and the international community was putting pressure on India to resolve the dispute peacefully. Shah said that 27th October would be observed as Black Day to convey a message to the world that the people of Kashmir were struggling for their right to self-determination. |

Shah urges UN to play effective role to settle Kashmir issue |

Srinagar, October 07 : Senior leader of the All Parties of Hurriyet Conference,and DFP chief Shabir Ahmad Shah, has called upon the international community particularly the United Nations to play an effective role in resolving the Kashmir dispute.Addressing a public gathering in Kupwara, Shabir Shah said that peace in South Asia was linked with resolution of the Kashmir dispute. He said that the world community should play role in settling this lingering dispute as it had done in resolving East Timor and South Sudan issues. He said that people of Jammu and Kashmir were the primary victims to the dispute. However, he maintained that India had failed to suppress the freedom struggle of the people of Kashmir who were determined to take it to its logical end.Shah urged India to sincerely initiate a tripartite dialogue process for resolving the Kashmir dispute. He said that solution of the Kashmir problem would pave way for durable peace and prosperity in the region. He also demanded probe into the unmarked graves through an independent commission. |
