Shah urges Kashmiri youth to continue liberation struggle

Srinagar, September 30 : The All Parties Hurriyet Conference
senior leader and DFP chief Shabir Ahmad Shah has appealed the Kashmiri youth to
continue their struggle for securing right to self-determination to it reaches
its logical conclusion.
Shabir Ahmad Shah addressing a gathering in Handwara said that the conspiracies
against the Kashmir liberation movement would be frustrated. He said that the
people of Kashmir had rendered unprecedented sacrifices and they should be given
an opportunity to decide their future by themselves as promised by the
international community and Indian government.
Shah urged the justice-loving countries to help stop the
massacre of Kashmiris and resolve the Kashmir dispute for establishment of
permanent peace in South Asia. |

Guru’s execution to aggravate situation in IHK : Shabir shah

Srinagar, September 29 : Senior leader of APHC and the
Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) President, Shabir Ahmad Shah has opposed the
execution of Muhammad Afzal Guru in the fake parliament attack case.
Shah addressing a party meeting in Srinagar said that the allegations leveled
against Afzal Guru were politically motivated and his hanging would further
aggravate the situation.
He said that even top pro-India lawmakers had opposed the death penalty to
Muhammad Afzal Guru realising that he was not provided a fair opportunity to
legally defend himsel.
Shah said that hanging Afzal Guru would produce hundreds like him and Kashmiris
would register their severe protest against the political murder of an innocent
Kashmiri. |

Shabir condemns implicating of Kashmiris in Delhi blast

Srinagar, September 25 : Senior leader of the All Parties
Hurriyet Conference,and DFP chief Shabir Ahmed Shah, has expressed serious
concern over the implicating of three Kashmiri students in the recent blast in
New Delhi.
Shah said in Srinagar that deplored Indian investigation agency was trying to
implicate Abid Hussain, Shariq Ahmed and Amir Abbas, all residents of Kishtwar,
on the basis of an-email. He said that all this was being done to hide the
police failure to bring the real culprits to justice.
The DFP chief pointed out that in the past also Indian police had been arresting
the Kashmiri youth in connection with such incidents but later on all cases
against them proved false. He appealed to the Indian civil society to play its
role in saving the Kashmiri students. |

Settlement under Indian Constitution not acceptable: Shah

Srinagar, September 23 : Senoir Hurriyet leader and DFP chief
Shabir ahmed shah have maintained that the Kashmir dispute can be resolved by
giving the Kashmiri people their inalienable right to self-determination.
Shah said that the Kashmiri people would continue their liberation struggle till
its logical end.
Meanwhile Indian police arrested senior APHC leader and and DFP chief Shabir
Ahmed Shah, along with his party activists in Pampore, when he was on his way to
Kulgam where he was to address a gathering.

Srinagar, September 21 : The former
president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood
Chaudhry has said that Pakistan will continue its moral,
political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in
their struggle for securing right to self-determination.Barrister
Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, talking to All Parties Hurriyet
Conference (APHC) senior leader, Shabir Ahmad Shah in
Srinagar, said that the sacrifices of the people of Kashmir
would not go waste and would definitely bring positive
results.
Shabir Ahmad Shah on the occasion, told Barrister that
Pakistan should take more effective efforts for highlighting
the Kashmir dispute at international level and urge the world
community to play role in its peaceful settlement.
He lauded the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs and was sure that
the Kashmiris would soon get rid of Indian bondage.
Calling for setting up of joint chamber to boost cross-LoC
trade, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry said that LoC should
be made irrelevant to allow free movement of people. He,
however, asserted that all Confidence Building Measures,
including the LoC trade, were futile till the core issue of
Kashmir remains unresolved.
Shah apprised the Barrister of the human rights violations and
Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory.He told him
that the political prisoners were being treated inhumanly and
even basic facilities were not provided to them in the jails. |

Srinagar, September 20 : Former Prime Minster of Azad Kashmir
called on DFP chief Shabir Ahmad Shah at his Organizational Headquarter Budshah
Colony Sanat Nagar on Tuesday.
Both the leaders discussed in detail the different dimensions
of Kashmir Dispute during their meeting that last for more than one and half
hour. Shah told the visiting leader that he should visit rural areas where he
could see the real misery of the people.
Shah said that India had no moral justification to hold Jammu
and Kashmir against the wishes of the Kashmiri people and resolution of the
Kashmir dispute was imperative for the security of the region. He appealed the
governments of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir to raise the dispute over
Kashmir at the international level more vigorously. |

Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry on the occasion said that
the people and governments of Pakistan and AJK were with their
brethren in the occupied territory and they would not leave
them alone in this time of trial. |

Shabir Shah denounces crackdown on youth
|

Srinagar, September 19 : Senior leader of the All Parties
Hurriyet Conference (APHC) and DFP chief Shabir Ahmad Shah has
denounced the crackdown on the Kashmiri youth by the Indian
police.
Shah said that the occupation authorities could not suppress
the ongoing liberation movement through use of brute force. He
said that it was result of the Kashmiris’ sacrifices that the
dispute was being discussed at international forums.
Shah Strongly condemning the unjust and undemocratic arrest of
APHC leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, he said that the arrests and
harassment of the Hurriyet leaders could not prevent the
people of Kashmir from continuing their just struggle for
right to self-determination.
Meanwhile, two people were killed and four others injured,
today, when an explosive device went off during collection of
scrap at Maidanpora in Lolab area Kupwara. At least twelve
shops and two residential houses were gutted while three
people were injured in a devastating blaze at Vailoo Kokernag
Market in Islamabad.

Srinagar September 18 : Freedom Party Chief Shabir Ahmad Shah
was detained by a big police party at Babgam when he was going to address a
scheduled public meating in pulwama tahab.
Shah had to address 2nd function at Khanbal Islamabad where
three youths were martyred in 2010.
Meanwhile DFP sectary General Molana Abdulah Taari addressed a geathering in
babgan, where people were protesting against detention of Shabir Shah. |

Grave HR abuses prompted debate in British Parliament

Srinagar September 17 : Senior leader of the All Parties
Hurriyet Conference, Shabir Ahmed Shah, has said that the
gravity of human rights violations in occupied Kashmir
prompted the debate on the issue in the British Parliament.
Shah said that as many as 120 innocent Kashmiris were killed
in last year’s uprising in the occupied territory. He said
that these killings spoke volumes about the human rights
violations in Jammu and Kashmir by Indian police and troops.
On 18th September last year a minor of Islamabad town was
forcibly drowned in river by the occupation forces and the
rescuers of the boy were showered with bullets. In that
incident three people got killed and the residents of the
towns are observing the anniversary of these martyrs,” he
added.
The DFP chief also paid glowing tributes to the liberation
leader, Aijaz Ahmed Dar, the first martyr of the liberation
movement, on his 23rd martyrdom |

(APHC) and the President of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom
Party (DFP), Shabir Ahmed Shah was arrested on Friday along with his others
colleagues at Newah Pulwama, while
he was heading towards Kellar (Shopian) to address a public really.
Meanwhile, the DFP spokesman while condemning in strong terms the arrest of the
party chief Shabir Shah termed the the puppet administration's action as
an undemocratic, unjustified and called for an immediate release of party

The action was taken to prevent Shabir Shah, from going to
Humhama area of Budgam to express solidarity with the families
of the youth who were martyred by Indian police and troops
during last year’s uprising on this day. The authorities
deployed heavy contingents of Indian police and troops outside
the residence of the senior APHC leader.
Meanwhile [JKDFP] strongly condemned the house arrest of
Shabir Shah terming it as an undemocratic action by the puppet

Mehmood Saghar expresses concern over HR abuses in IHK

Srinagar, September 08 : The All Parties Hurriyet Conference
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a meeting with its Convenor,
Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in chair, and discussed latest situation of occupied
Kashmir.
The participants of the meeting expressed serious concern over the continued
human rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory.
The meeting strongly condemned the illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders. It
also drew the attention of the UN and the international human rights bodies
towards the discovery of more unmarked graved in occupied Kashmir and urged them
to take cognisance of the matter.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Kashmir Centre Brussels, Barrister Abdul Majeed
Tramboo, today, visited the APHC-AJK office in Islamabad and met with the
Hurriyet leaders.
The Convenor, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, apprising him of the activities of the
APHC-AJK said that the organisation was projecting in every forum the cruelties
being committed on the innocent people of occupied Kashmir by India and its
puppet administration.
Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo on the occasion said that all energies and
resources should be utilised for securing the Kashmiris’ inalienable right to

President of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabir Ahmad Shah
has demanded repeal of draconian laws and withdrawal of Indian troops from
occupied Kashmir.
Shah addressing a big public gathering in Gangoo Chowk denounced the killing of
a youth in the area by Indian troops. He said that the use of brute force could
not suppress the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the just struggle for securing
their right to self-determination.
He said that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle till its
logical conclusion. He called upon the people to raise voice against the
brutalities and cruelties of the Indian government and its puppet administration
in the occupied territory.
Shah also expressed serious concern over the arrest of innocent Kashmiri youth.

Shah said that India through use of brute force had not succeeded to suppress
the Kashmiris’ liberation movement and nor would be able to do so in the future.
He said that thousands of Kashmiri people had been martyred, disappeared in
custody and unmarked graves had also been unearthed but the people of Kashmir
were determined to take the ongoing movement to its logical against all odds. |

(APHC) senior leader and the President of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabir
Ahmad Shah has said that Kashmir is a political dispute and can be resolved
through political means.
Shah talking to party activists in Gandarbal, today, said that the Kashmiri
martyrs had rendered their lives for a great cause. .
He also visited the local martyrs’ graveyard and urged the people present there
to remain united for the Kashmir cause. He maintained that the sacrifices of
Kashmiri martyrs had internationalized the Kashmir dispute and their blood would
not be allowed to go waste.
Later, the senior APHC leader visited Watargam Ghanipura where he expressed
sympathy and solidarity with the parents of martyred Abdul Ghani Gujri. On the
occasion, he said that they would not take rest till the completion of martyrs’

India not sincere in resolution of Kashmir dispute: Shabir shah

Srinagar, September 03 : All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC)
senior leader and the President of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabir Ahmad
Shah has said that India is not sincere in peaceful resolution of Kashmir
dispute.
Shabir Ahmad Shah addressing a big public gathering in Langate the other day
said that the Indian government always backstabbed Kashmiris since 1947. He said
that the first Prime Minister of India, Jawahar Lal Nehru made a promise inside
the Parliament and Lal Chowk in Srinagar that at an appropriate time the
Kashmiris would be given an opportunity to decide their future but the
commitment yet to be fulfilled.
Shah said that Kashmiris were neither afraid of human losses nor arrests and
would take the liberation movement to its logical conclusion, against all odds.
He said that the people of Kashmir had rendered countless sacrifices for
securing their inalienable right to self-determination and the sacrifices would
not go waste.
Shah paid rich tributes to the people who laid down their lives for the great
cause and said that their sacrifices would never be forgotten. “The freedom
struggles in the world have always succeeded and the success of the movement in
occupied Kashmir is inevitable”, he added.
He also visited the house of Abdul Ghani Goojri of Ganipora killed in a grenade
blast in Baramulla. He condoled his death and expressed sympathies with the
bereaved family. |
